Vardhan, who founded BVardhan Developers in 1962. Rising steps from Santacruz Railway Station, the centre was planned as a destination for retail and business — bringing organised, well-built commercial space to a fast-growing western suburb. Its position on the station road gave shopkeepers and their customers the footfall and connectivity that a commercial address depends on, while honest construction and considered layouts gave it staying power.
